At the full meeting of Merton Council this Wednesday 17th May, the governing group will be proposing various changes to their committee structures. You can read what they are proposing at item 6 on the Agenda and at Appendix E here .
We have concerns about these changes and more generally about the way that planning issues are structured in Merton. We have set out our concerns in a letter, including the importance of having independence in the decision process.
