Our Volunteers

All our staff are volunteers and we are often looking for help across a wide variety of roles. We offer training and a helping hand to make sure that you are never dropped in the deep end! We have people from all walks of life who share a common interest in promoting the past, present and future of the best of everything in Wimbledon. We also use local volunteer agencies including Reach and Merton Volunteer Service.

Fundraising Manager:

In order to continue our work we are looking for a volunteer fundraiser to increase our funding. This role will:

  • Search out relevant grants and funding sources and write the applications for them
  • Find new sponsors and increase our corporate membership
  • Identify other fundraising activities such as social events and visits

There will be full ongoing help and support offered from our friendly team. You would be working from home for a few hours per week with some local meetings. Microsoft Office skills are important and it would be an advantage to live in or near Wimbledon

Contact if you would like more information and please send your CV to the same address.

Volunteering at Wimbledon Museum

You must be 18 years old or over, and because access to the museum is restricted, please contact us first if you are disabled or if you have additional support needs. Each role requires different time commitments, and these will depend on each role. Obligations are not too onerous, and we can always be flexible to fit in with your availability. Once you have been a volunteer for at least 6 months, we will be happy to supply references. Our Museum is run and staffed by volunteers.

If you’d like to get involved please email
