Membership of the Society offers many benefits:

  • attend lectures, meetings and literary talks
  • enjoy excursions and guided walks
  • receive our quarterly Newsletters
  • engage with the community
  • join us in preserving the best of Wimbledon
  • help to protect our conservation areas

All these activities are carried out by enthusiastic volunteers. To continue, we need the active support and participation of the Society‘s members.

The Society’s area of interest can be seen on this map. It is recognised as the amenity society for Wimbledon and is represented on the Council’s Conservation Areas Advisory Committee.

The quarterly Newsletter contains news, features and details of our lively programme of lectures, literary talks, excursions and guided walks. It is published in March, June, September and December. Current information can be seen on our twitter page and facebook page where you can take part in the conversation.

You can find information on future Events here.

The annual subscription is £15 a year for an Individual, £20 for a Family (2 adults) and £50 for Corporate membership (any organisation which supports the objects of the Society).
