The Local History Group was set up in 1971 to locate and list historical records of Wimbledon and to encourage new research. The Group and has recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. It will come as little surprise that the notes and minutes amassed during this time are a goldmine of unpublished local information and data. We plan to make this invaluable body of knowledge more accessible in the future.
