Description
In the summer of 1928 Vincent Lines secured a commission to produce a series of drawings of local views and historic buildings for the Wimbledon Borough News. Around 140 of his pictures were published in the Wimbledon Borough News every Friday from June 8 1928 to April 3 1931, accompanied by supporting articles penned by Margaret Grant. Fifty-two are reproduced here, with the corresponding articles. A fascinating book for locals.
