This Council document includes plans and policies for the whole borough as well as local policies for Wimbledon, Raynes Park and South Wimbledon and proposals for sites in Wimbledon including the Broadway and Hartfield Road car parks. The Council has issued a number of draft versions of the document and we have responded to each.
The Council submitted their final version to the Secretary of State in November 2021 and he has now appointed two independent Inspectors to examine it in detail. The Inspectors will hold hearings in public in the summer of 2022 but no dates have been announced yet. The Inspectors can recommend changes to the plan and so there may then be a further version of the Plan before it is implemented.
