One of our concerns about the AELTC’s plans for an industrial tennis complex on the golf course is the effect that it will have on nature and on biodiversity.
It’s not just about the uprooting of scores of trees and hundreds of saplings and the excavation of the entire golf course site. It’s also about the destruction of National Priority Habitats and the adverse impacts on the adjoining lake
So we have sent another letter of objection to the planning departments in Merton and Wandsworth just on these points. You can read our letter here.
