It is interesting to see that the renovation of this site is adapting the shell of the old store, rather than demolishing it and rebuilding. This is a good example of conservation.
But we think that the proposal could have gone further by developing and producing sustainable energy, say by housing a large PV panel display on its south-facing roof.
