Wimbledon Village and the Village War Memorial on Thursday 8th May from 6pm
- 6 pm : Fish & chip cones served at the Rose & Crown and Dog & Fox
- 8 pm : Music by the Wandle Concert Band at the War Memorial
- 8.50 pm: Mayoral Procession to the War Memorial
- 9 pm : Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial
- 9.30 pm : Lighting of the VE Day Beacon at the War Memorial
- 9.45 pm : 1940’s music and dancing at the Rose & Crown
